‘Pawn Stars’ Rick Harrison is grieving the tragic death of his son Adam, 39.

Rick Harrison, the founder of Pawn Stars, is devastated by the untimely death of his son Adam Harrison, who died on Friday (January 19).

Adam, 39, died tragically as a result of an overdose, according to his agent, Laura Herlovich, who told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

Adam’s death was initially reported by TMZ, and the circumstances surrounding the overdose, including when and where it occurred, are unknown. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has launched an inquiry into his tragic demise.

The Harrison family is mourning Adam’s death, and Herlovich issued a brief statement on their behalf, saying: “Our family is deeply devastated by Adam’s passing. We beg for privacy as we mourn his passing.”

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second kid from his first marriage to Kim, and he is the younger brother of Corey Harrison. Rick later remarried Tracy, with whom he had a son, Jake.

Adam did not appear in the famous reality series Pawn Stars, which stars Rick and Corey, although he did work at the family’s shop, Gold & Silver Pawn, before the show debuted in 2009. However, he had just stopped being actively involved in the pawn store.

After learning of Adam’s overdose, Rick turned to Instagram to pay respect to his son. Rick captioned a photo of himself smiling with Adam at a pub, “You will always be in my heart!” I love you, Adam. 💔.”

Adam had a strong relationship with his elder brother, Corey, who also shared his sadness on Instagram. Corey’s tweet included a poignant image of him clutching a snapshot of the two brothers playing in a bathtub as toddlers. His caption read: “Wax wtf, I will always love you, bubba.”

Adam’s untimely death has stunned the Pawn Stars family and fans, highlighting the catastrophic consequences of substance misuse and the impacts it can have not just on the addict but also on their loved ones.

We express our thoughts and condolences to the Harrison family during this awful time.
