During his wild and needless rant on immigration in American history and what the real threats to the republic are, President Biden started cursing at reporters over the issue, with one of his eyebrow-raising lines being about the matter being an attack on those who question his age and mental acuity. As could be expected, the online backlash over the incident, which occurred on the evening of Sunday, January 5, was swift, severe, and entertaining.
That angry part of Biden’s rant came when he, digressing from his view of immigration to attack those who say he’s too old to be president, said, “I just hope we don’t — and by the way, the actions we take — the only thing by being the oldest president: I know more world leaders than any one of you ever met in your whole goddamn life. And I know them. You know how they think? Not a joke.”
He then returned to the immigration issue by attacking Trump’s view on birthright citizenship and saying, “What really hurts is when we talk about immigration, the way we do it, we talk about who I mean this is in the idea we’re going to change the constitutional birthright. If you’re born in the country, you can’t be — you’re not a citizen.”
As could be expected, the clip of President Joe Biden cursing at the reporters went megaviral online, with many different commentators posting it and joking about it, along with noting what it shows about Biden. One such poster said, “Joe Biden curses at reporters who question his age and mental fitness. Not very presidential.”
Another commenter on the matter was Link Lauren, formerly a senior advisor to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Lauren wrote, noting what the clip shows, “This is the real Biden they’ve tried to hide from you for years. Short tempered, vindictive, petty. He’s not really this sweet grandpa. Though that’s the image the White House pushes outwardly.”
A commenter on Lauren’s name pointed out that the supposedly very Catholic president had taken the Lord’s name in vain when he cursed, saying, “I guess he’s nice only when he has an ice cream cone in his face. The left said DJT was all these things during his first term. Looks like projection to me. Xiden is a Christian in name only. Using the Lord’s name in vain on national tv isn’t the dunk Smirky Joe was hoping for.” Watch the clip here:
Another commenter on Lauren’s post noted what awful qualities of Biden’s seem to exist and were shown by the cursing clip. That commenter wrote, “He is such a mean, rude, evil corrupt, creepy, selfish, spiteful and incompetent human. How embarrassing that we had to endure calling him the President these last 4 yrs. GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!”
Also chiming in was Congressman Don Bacon, who took the opportunity to note that Biden has an extremely low favorability rating, saying, “Our President reminds us why he has the lowest favorables of any President going back to 1952.” Another poster joked, referring to his bizarre snapping, “Sharp as a tack, folks.”
