Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan are one of Hollywood’s most inspirational couples. They’ve been faithfully married for almost three decades and have supported each other through ups and downs, particularly Fox’s Parkinson’s disease struggle.

The pair recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary, and the actor paid heartfelt homage to his loving wife.

The Back to the Future actor, 62, has published a succession of images of himself and Tracy on social media throughout the years.

“35 years of laugher, living, listening, and loving you,” Fox captioned the photo. “Thank you very much for everything. Mike, I will always love you.”

“Love you so much!!!” Pollan responded in the comments section. She also paid respect to her hubby in her own Instagram post:

“Congratulations on your anniversary, my love.” Here’s to many more exciting experiences ahead. “I could not be more in love with you,” she wrote.

Pollan turned 63 last month, and Fox paid homage to her with a touching birthday message: “She showers the people she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels,” he said.

“My forever Summer girl, my love, my best friend, and the most beautiful and amazing mother to our four fantastic children.” “I love you so much.”

Pollan and Fox have been married since 1988. They first met on the set of Family Ties, where Pollan portrayed Fox’s Alex P. Keaton’s girlfriend. They reconnected on the set of Bright Lights, Big City and began dating.

On July 16, 1988, the pair married. They have four children: a son named Sam, twin daughters named Aquinnah and Schuyler, and a daughter named Esmé.

Fox’s life took a sad turn only a few years after his marriage when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991.

“It was scary,” Fox said in 2015 on The Late Show With David Letterman. “I was 29 at the time, and it was the last thing I expected to hear.” I believed I’d damaged my shoulder executing some trick since my pinkie twitched. ‘You have Parkinson’s disease,’ the doctor remarked. ‘The good news is that you still have ten years of labor ahead of you,’ he remarked.

Fox struggled to accept the sickness, but claims his wife’s love and support got him through the tough moments.

“We didn’t know what to expect,” Fox said in an interview with Today. “One of the things I’ll always love Tracy for is that at that moment, she didn’t blink.”

They have been a steady source of love and support for one another for the past 35 years, and their love is still going strong.

“I think we really listen to each other, we are there for each other when we need each other,” Pollan told the newspaper. “And then, when necessary, we give each other space.” Just trying to be present and aware of what is required at the time.”

“Tracy provides our family with all we require. “Everything good in our family, everything good we do, comes from her,” Fox continued.

Fox announced his retirement from acting in 2021 and recently confessed that his Parkinson’s disease struggle was “getting tougher” and that he was “not gonna be 80,” but he was still “happy.”

Fox’s Michael J. Fox Foundation, which sponsors research to develop improved treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s disease, continues to accomplish excellent work. The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation is the largest non-profit sponsor of Parkinson’s disease research, having funded more than $1 billion for research initiatives.
